Why do I need a health insurance card?

Your DAK-Gesundheit health insurance card works like a pass. When you pay a visit to your doctor or go to the hospital, simply present your card. This way, your medical treatment is settled through us and you do not have to pay anything. Your health insurance card is valid in Germany and many other countries.
