How much do students have to pay DAK-Gesundheit for their insurance?
In Germany, all students must prove that they have health insurance for the duration of their studies.
Students currently pay a monthly contribution of 111,32 euros for health insurance and 30,78 euros for nursing care insurance.(It rises at the beginning of the age of 23 if you have no children. If you have more than one child, the fee is reduced.)
The premiums for students sometimes change, for example when the BAföG increases. That is because all health insurance funds calculate their premiums for students based on this. It doesn't matter whether you receive BAföG or not.
