Attestations for students
Here you can find all the attestations that you will need during your studies in Germany. Some of them can just be downloaded straight away, for others you need to first download the DAK App and register on it.
Certificate of insurance for students
You need proof of your health insurance in order to enrol in a university or university of applied sciences? You can request this certificate here. We will process your request and send the notification of your insurance status directly to the selected university. Use your DAK App login details to access this. You must have registered in the DAK App beforehand to do this. Don't hesitate to contact us if you need help.
BAföG attestation
If you receive BAföG benefits, you can apply for a monthly grant to cover your DAK premium through the Student Aid Office (Amt für Ausbildungsförderung). You need this attestation to do this. Use your DAK App login details to access this. You must have registered in the DAK App beforehand to do this. The document is in German. Don't hesitate to contact us if you need help.
